Hans and Vonnie Vanderwerff are the founding directors of Nachamu nachamu ami - Comfort, comfort ye my people. CYMPM makes the commitment to present Torah truth to the world and in particular to the Christian Church concerning God's Eternal Covenant with Israel. CYMPM pledges to expose and fight anti-Semitism. Therefore, an important goal of CYMPM is to also educate the Christian Church regarding the Holocaust, reminding her of her failure to lodge a meaningful protest against the horrors that were committed against the Jewish people. Even so, CYMPM recognizes the hundreds of thousands individuals, within and outside of the Church, who indeed have lodged such protest. As a result, many lost their lives or suffered immensely in one or another Nazi concentration camp. |

"The Holocaust, known in Hebrew as Sho'ah, is the most tragic period of Jewish Diaspora history and indeed of modern mankind as a whole. Twelve long years of Nazi-German anti-Jewish Aktion (1933-1945) constitute an uninterrupted progression toward a continued increasing radicalization of objectives and barbarization of methods in constantly expanding territories under direct Nazi control or under decisive Nazi influence to the accompaniment of vicious, sometimes obscene anti-Jewish propaganda. Consequences of the Holocaust are of decisive significance for the Jewish present and future: those consequences are still evident now and will be experienced for generations to come."
